NORTH AMERICAN F-82E Twin Mustang

The F-82E served as an all weather fighter into the early 1950's. Many saw combat in the early phases of the Korean War.
Always referred to as "two Mustang fuselages", a simple comparison to any Mustang (including the 'H') shows that it is a unique design that just shares the visible features of the smaller P-51.
