Very similar to the P-1, but with an early supercharger on the right side of the fuselage.
By the time the P-2 appeared, the Air Corps hade reverted to the pre-war star markings on the aircraft.
Supercharger technology was too primitive to be effective.
 
All Air Corps aircraft showed U.S. Army on the bottom in white or insignia yellow.
