XP-23 under construction.

This is combines a Monogram P-6E and an Execuform XP-31.

Fuselage assembly. The painted P-6 parts stand out from the white vacuform XP-31parts in this pic.

A little more work done and it's looking better in the coat of light gray paint. Notice the groove cut in the nose with a Dremel for the exhaust pipe.
 

A big step forward: landing gear are finished except for the tail wheel, super charger and exhaust added, wing struts and upper wing added.
