CONSOLIDATED P-30 / PB-2

To Consolidated's relief, they finally received a production contract for the P-30. The plane was also designated PB-2 for Pursuit, Biplace, following the P-16/PB-1.
To Execuform's relief, the P-30 kit is finally built as it was intended.
P-30's were the first all metal, retractable landing gear Air Corps fighters. A single seat version was entered in the 1935 fighter competition, but lost to dedicated designs like the P-35 and P-36.
