CURTISS XP-53
The XP-53 would have been a vrey conventional follow on to the P-40.
The fuselage was still basically a P-40 fuselage. I used the Monogram P-40N kit.
The wing outboard the dihedral change was a basic P-40 wing. The vertical tail was a P-40; horizontals were new.
