NORTHROP P-61A Black Widow

The Airfix P-61A kit. The Dragon/DML is better but wasn't available back then.
The P-61 used the standard twin boom configuration.

If you sand off all the rivets, the Airfix kit isn't too bad, though the wing cord is too narrow.
 
NORTHROP RP-61E Reporter
 
With the Airmodel conversion kit, you can create the RP-61E. This was originally designated F-15A.
 
Though the P-61E was not used, the RP-61E did see operational use.
 
The P-61 used spoilers for major manuevering. The small ailerons functioned as trim surfaces only.
